My 6 Essential products

 

If I could only keep 6 products (I think I’d cry but here’s what they would be!)

Hi and welcome to my fourth blog. In this blog I will be talking about 6 products that I just cannot live without. These products include a mixture of both hair and beauty products, with a collection the size that I have this is extremely hard to do. Let’s start with hair.

At this present moment in time with my hair being the way it is (long and trying to get it a little bit thicker) I have been using products recommended by a family member and at this minute in time it is my favourite. John Frieda Pro filler shampoo and conditioner alongside the spray.


These products state they have a 200% thickness in 1 use! Let me tell you they really weren’t lying. These products have a fresh scent which lasts for days and leave my hair feeling clean.

When using the spray post shampoo and conditioner, I have found that a little really does go a long way. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of spraying way too much of the thickening spray onto my hair and letting it dry naturally resulting in my hair feeling sticky and looking as if I had just lost a fight with a chip pan. I have found its best to spray sparingly onto the roots then blow-dry my hair when using them which results in my hair feeling and appearing much thicker from the roots down.

The next product that i can not live with out (and believe me you will thank me for using), is the INKEY List Succinic Acid treatment for all skin types. 
This amazing product reduces inflammation, treats acne and hides blemishes. Believe me when I say, although I don’t have acne for a hormonal female with monthly breakouts (yep we all know about that girls), it has been a god send. This product is supported when using the facewashes and moisturising creams.


As regards to shower gel we all know I’m a sucker for Bath and Body Works. So, I must admit my all-time favourite shower gel is ‘A Thousand Wishes’.

This is a sweet fresh with pink prosecco scent, perfect for special occasions and to me confidence in a bottle (hence why I need gallons of this stuff). The shower gel paired with the moisturiser is so luxurious it leaves my skin feeling silky smooth but breathable (and no you can’t touch lol). The shower gel alone leaves me feeling squeaky clean, but it is definitely not harsh on my sensitive skin and the fragrance lasts forever I was being serious when I said you really can smell Bath and Body works throughout your house.

Although realistically I could not live without a single one of my products I absolutely love them all hence why they are in my shelves these are 6 of the products I could potentially not live without.

My favourite bath time scents

Hi all! And welcome back to Shelves of Beauty! If you liked the first blog hopefully, you’ll like the second. This time I’ll be talking about my favourite shower gels, the ones I love the most, limited editions and the ones that make me go meh! Let’s start off with my favourite, Bath and Body works (available through next). The fragrance that I can’t, and you shouldn’t be without is “Into the Night”. From shower gel to body mist and body lotion, it has a luxurious smell and if I say so myself, is paired well with my favourite perfume, Black Opium. With shower gel ranging from £16 to the body mist that is £18, these fragrances are extremely affordable for anyone. I also really love the scent Perfect in Pink, I feel bath and body works scents leave my skin feeling cleaned but alongside their lotion feeling nourished. Scent Marketing Explained

  Welcome back.  Firstly, I would like to thank everybody who has read my first two blog posts and I hope you enjoy the third, and for those who have not read my first two blogs where have you been? 😂  This week I am going to focus on scent marketing. What is scent marketing I hear you ask. It is a smart use of scents which are used by companies to attract customers into their stores and increase the likelihood of positive experiences which in turn lead to transactions.   As I sit here, just out of my shower smelling of Dove Shea butter and Vanilla pampering body wash, in my head whenever I smell this scent all I can think of is a hot bath with plenty of bubbles and candles lit, especially after a long day at university or after being busy around the house.
